Self-Reliance and Self-Improvement is the Key to Success

"None will improve your a lot: If you yourself do not" Bertlot Brecht
"If you don't crack the shell, you don't eat the nut" Russian Proverb
"Every tub must stand on its own bottom" Thomas Fuller
"Every man is the son of his own works" Cervantes, "Don Quixote"
"If you want a thing done well, does it yourself" Napoleon
I have ever held it as a maxim never to do that through another, which it was possible for me to execute. I have always kept in mind that no man should part
with his own individuality and become that of other. Life is what our character makes it. We fashion it as a snail does its shell. It is enough that we set out to mold the motley stuff of life into some form of our choosing; when we do this, the performance is itself the wage. The foundations, which we would dig about and find, are within us, like the Kingdom of Heaven, rather than without. We carry our homes within us, which enables us to fly.

Pakistan is one of those few countries that are so much blessed by GOD (ALLAH) that they have five different seasons that alternate each other regularly. It has the inland water that is fresh, sweet and is available almost all over the country all the year round in so much an amount that it can serve a useful purpose for transportation. Our soils are fertile and our farmers are so hard working that they even can grow crops out of rocks. Our worthy country also has its fuel reserves, including atomic fuels. It is not in any way handicapped. It just needs a molding hand to shape it into a blissful paradise.

I am of the opinion that we be ourselves and think for ourselves; and while our conclusions may not be infallible, they will nearer right than conclusions forced upon us by those who have a personal interest in keeping us in ignorance. We should first start from ourselves. We should analyze what kind of opportunities is available to us to put our natural talent and hidden potential into practice. We should have to cast a consistent and cautions look at our surroundings and identify the trait in which we can try our mettle, just as Thomas A.
Kempis says in "The Imitation of Christ", "Have therefore first zeal to better thyself and then mast though has zeal to thy neighbor"
"We must be our own before we can be another's. It is a Spanish Proverb that if you want good service, serves yourself."
"Happy are they that hear their detraction and put them to mending" Shakespeare, "Much Ado about Nothing"
"The wisest men follow their own direction" Euripides

We should not care so much about what we are in the opinion of others, as what we are in our own; we would be rich by ourselves, and not by borrowing. A wise man never loses anything if he has himself.
"Every man is the architect of his own fortune" Sallust

Men are made stronger on realization that the helping hand they need is at the end of their own right arm. Any man who is really a man must learn to be alone in the midst of others, to think alone for others, and if necessary, against others. If we judge our moves and motives, we will need none to guide us. We will not need a law if we follow the whisper of our conscience and the direction of morality.
"Who to himself is law, doth need any law; and if offends no law, becomes a king indeed." George Chapman
"Go and wake up your luck" Persian Proverb
The most affluent man is he that confronts all the shows he sees by equivalents out of the stronger wealth of himself. Therefore, we may doubt whom we will, but should never ourselves.
"For they can conquer who believe they can" Vergil

It is a Scottish Proverb that a man is a lion in his own cause. It is worth reflecting how pleasant it is to ask for nothing. It is far more pleasant to be on the delivering side rather on the receiving one. It is a fact that we have unfortunately lost so much of our precious time that we cannot afford any more. However, if one is awakened, then there is no such thing like permanent deprivation and utter destruction. If we do not have the resources for the new, we certainly have the opportunity for repairing and refurnishing the old.
Let us be ready for the test,
Try our level best,
Hope for the greatest
And GOD (ALLAH) will do the rest.
